Prior to starting Ensuant, Arora was CTO at TIBCO Software, where he was responsible for the incubation and subsequent business unit for TIBCO BusinessEvents. The product suite became one of the leading software platforms in Complex Events Processing (CEP) and Business Integration services. In his career, Arora has pioneered innovative enterprise methodologies and tools to help companies deliver on large-scale data driven applications. Arora also has patents for Inferential State Machines.
Mr. William H.C. Chang is Chairman and CEO of the Westlake Group. Westlake is a diversified investment company, headquartered in San Mateo, California, with operations in China, Japan, and the United States and over 4,000 employees. The firm has invested in various industries in China for over twenty five years. Westlake's technology division helps U.S.-based companies penetrate the telecommunication and enterprise networking market in China. In addition to overseeing Westlake's diversified portfolio, Mr. Chang works with organizations within the Bay Area who promote US-Asia relations and business initiatives in the Asian American community. He is the Founding Chairman of the Asian Business League and serves as a Director for the California International Relations. Mr. Chang is also Founder of the Chinese American Association of Commerce, Founding Governor of the City Club of San Francisco, member of the Young Presidents' Organization, Trustee for The Asia Foundation and an Advisor to the Harvard Asia Center and completed his AB in Economics from Harvard College.
Mr. Kidwai is an experienced CEO, entrepreneur and Private Equity Investor in technology, digital media, consumer & business internet and entertainment sectors. He is the Founder and former CEO of Real Time Content, a leading company in the online video space. Mr. Kidwai is also a member of the Advisory Board of GlobalLogic Inc. and represents Intel Capital interests on a number of their investments in the Middle East, he also serves as Non-Executive Director of several other companies around the world.
Mr. Mansfield is a retired Air Force Brigadier General, gaining 34 years of experience in logistics planning, operations, and supply chain management. He served as the Air Force Director of Supply, and was the chief architect of the Air Force's supply transformation initiative to improve weapons systems' availability and manage cost. Major initiatives included bringing best practices in purchasing and supply management (PSM), activity based cost management (ABC/M).
Enterprise applications integration (EAI), and logistics command and control to Air Force spare parts management. He led the Department of Defense's surplus and excess property operations; reshaping the global organization’s business operations by training the entire workforce to use applicable best commercial business practices, leveraging information technology, and focusing on customer determined outcomes.
Mr. Mehta is an angel investor and a member of the Advisory Boards of technology companies. Mehta brings over 25 years of sales and marketing, business development, and technical experience in software industry. Mehta joined TIBCO in 1990, where he played a key role in its growth and established direct and indirect sales channels in Europe and South America, until its successful IPO in 2001. As SVP of Global Sales & Marketing for TIBCO Finance Technology Inc (TFTI) from 1997 to 2001, he was responsible for the significant sales growth each year. Mehta started TIBCO's Asian operations, which accounted for 30% of the company’s total revenue in two years. Prior to TIBCO, Mehta spent 13 years at Hewlett Packard, where he held key positions in marketing, sales management and MIS management.
Mr. Vasudevan is the Managing Partner of Edge Ventures, LLC and has been involved in spearheading seed to early stage investments into emerging technology markets. Previously, Mr. Vasudevan was the Vice President of Strategic initiatives and Investment, at CommerceNet where he was principally responsible for shaping its investment philosophy and strategy, nurturing and seeding next generation innovations involving the business use of emerging Internet and communication technologies (RFID, Real Time Supply Chains, Wireless and Mobility Solutions). As a part of this effort, Ash directed many investments, including Advanced Postal Research Institute, ConceptLabs, Redmind (acquired by Ikimbo Technologies), Covendis, Webify Solutions, VEO (acquired by CommerceOne) and Bodha (acquired by Peregrine Systems NASDAQ:PRGN). Prior to that, he led a $60 million Next Generation Internet investment fund, which had investments in broadband applications and services for the State of CA. As a part of this effort, he led investments into 16 companies in CA, and established 2 test beds located at University of California Berkeley and San Diego Supercomputing Center respectively.
He also led several industry initiatives for SSA, GSA, and Healthcare Service providers that involved the testing, piloting, development and deployment of emerging Internet Technologies for critical cross enterprise business communication, collaboration and commerce. He has served as active strategy consultant for many Fortune 500 companies, the European Commission and the Corporate Executive board on Strategic Alliances Networks and Innovation Management. He is the author of the book "Alliance Enterprise: Global Strategies for Corporate Collaboration." He serves as an Advisory board member of the Robert H. Smith School of Business' Center for e-Service; Scientific Advisory Board Member of Integrated Media Systems Center at USC, a judging panel member of Bases Entrepreneurial challenge held by Stanford University, Entrepreneurial fellow at ConceptLabs, and EIR Fellow for RFID Programs at CommerceNet. He has authored several articles on the intersection of emerging internet technologies and business. Ash earned a Ph.D. in Management in 1996 from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in Philadelphia.
